Exercise is another one of those things that people hate and dread when it comes to weight loss. It is kind of rare that when you tell people the only way to lose weight in a quick healthy way is to diet and exercise; they always look for an easier and softer way. The problem is that this is the easy soft way!

Exercise is not as bad as people make it out to be. Yes it is very hard to get yourself started exercising. Extremely hard even! The point though is to get yourself in an exercise that you can live with (just like the diet!). It’s important that you do find a good exercise, because you’re going to be doing it for a while.
Losing weight is not some simple little, ok pop a pill today, tomorrow I’m skinny! If it were that easy, no one would be overweight. It is not as hard as it can seem sometimes either though. The way i tend to look at it is this.
I have to stick to this diet, and do these exercises today. I will make time to do the exercises, I’ll work a good sweat up doing them, and I will make sure I’m doing them right, today. I will stick with my chosen diet, today. See the trend? If you look at it as just something you need to do today, then it doesn’t seem as hard to deal with as it would if you’re looking at doing this for the rest of your natural life. Just deal with today, or even just the next 10 minutes.
Break things down into manageable chunks. Really all you have to do is stick with the diet and exercise for 28 days. That’s the amount of time it takes to make a habit of something. I know from experience, that it is much easier to do something that is habitual than if I have to force myself to do it.
